Automation Engineer

Are you passionate about quality, automation, and building tools that empower engineering teams? We’re looking for an Automation Engineer to join us — someone who can balance deep test automation expertise with hands-on manual QA and occasional frontend development using AI-assisted tools.

What You’ll Be Working On:

Test Automation (50–60%)

• Build and maintain scalable automated test suites using Cypress and Playwright
• Own regression, smoke, and integration automation across multiple web apps
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Improve reliability by debugging and eliminating flaky tests
• Champion best practices in testing across the engineering team

Manual Testing (20–30%)

• Execute structured/manual testing for Microsoft Dynamics 365 and related business applications
• Perform exploratory, UAT, and regression testing
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to validate workflows
• Log defects with clear steps, expectations, and evidence
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring manual tests

Frontend Development & AI Tooling (20%)

• Use Cursor and other AI coding assistants to contribute frontend features
• Write clean React/TypeScript code with testability in mind
• Configure and optimise AI tools, MCP servers, and integrations
• Share AI tooling knowledge to help the team move faster

What We’re Looking For:

Must-Haves

• 3+ years in QA Automation or SDET roles
• Strong experience with Cypress or Playwright
• Manual testing experience with enterprise apps (ideally D365)
• Solid JavaScript/TypeScript test coding skills
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• Excellent debugging and problem‐solving ability

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with D365 modules (Sales, Customer Service, Finance, etc.)
• Power Platform familiarity
• AI tooling experience (Cursor, Copilot, MCP servers)
• Accessibility testing knowledge
• React/TypeScript frontend experience
• Visual regression or performance testing tools
