Senior Infrastructure Engineer (NetDevOps)

Summer-Browning Associates is currently supporting our public sector client, who is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer (NetDevOps) for an initial ten-month assignment with the option to extend.

Location: Hybrid working - Newcastle, Manchester, Leeds, Birmingham or Blackpool (60% site attendance required)
About the role: You will be responsible for designing, building, and evolving large-scale enterprise network platforms, with a strong focus on modern, automated, and cloud-integrated infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will hold Active SC clearance and have a strong background in delivery Infrastructure/ Network Engineering support, with the following skills and experience:

• Experience in a Network / Infrastructure Engineer role in large-scale enterprise environments. xehkeey
• Experience delivering engineering solutions.
• Experience of Enterprise Networking Engineering
• Experience of Firewall and Security Technologies (Palo Alto firewalls, Zero Trust & Secure Network Design Principals)
• Experience of Data Centre & Network Architecture (VXLAN/ EVPN, Load balancing technologies ie F5 BIG-IP)
• Experience in network automation (Python or Ansible)
• Experience in Infrastructure as Code (IAC), ie Terraform
• Experience working on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI or GCP)
