Trainee/Graduate Recruitment Consultant

Salary: £25,000 (Basic) with OTE of £40,000 (Year 1), OTE £60,000 (Year 2), OTE £80,000 (Year 3)

The Role (Client Expectations):

As a trainee or graduate recruitment consultant, you will be expected to:

  • Gain a comprehensive understanding of the recruitment lifecycle, from candidate sourcing and selection to lead generation, pitching, securing new business, and candidate placements.

  • Seamlessly integrate into the team.

  • Develop a deep understanding of the technology you'll be recruiting for and demonstrate your knowledge to the company.

  • Exhibit proficiency in professional selling skills, including the ability to sell exclusivity, secure meetings, and interview slots with candidates.

  • Show a grasp of your own business and the capacity to forecast results while understanding your clients' future recruitment plans.

  • Conduct effective negotiations with both candidates and clients.
