Director, EMEA Web Strategy & Commercial Performance

Job Title

Director, EMEA Web Strategy & Commercial Performance

Job Description

As Director, EMEA Web Strategy & Commercial Performance, you'll set the strategy, roadmap and conversion agenda for web across the region, turning it into a measurable commercial growth engine. You'll own web's contribution to pipeline, SQO, ARR and ROI, using customer insight, experimentation and performance data to decide where we invest, what we prioritise and where we can have the greatest commercial impact.

It's a senior leadership role at the intersection of commercial strategy, digital experience and execution. You'll have the scope to challenge established thinking, build scalable capabilities across EMEA and lead a high-performing, multi-market web organisation.

Overview of the team
You'll lead a large, multi-market web organisation working across our Medium/B2B and Small/eCommerce go-to-market motions.

Working closely with Performance Marketing, Regional Media, SEO/GEO, Product Marketing, Brand, Sales, Commercial Operations and our central web and platform teams, you'll bring regional priorities together into one clear and commercially focused roadmap.

You'll also provide functional leadership to regional Small/eCommerce Web Leads, creating the shared standards and playbook that enable local teams to move quickly while benefiting from common EMEA capabilities and learning.

Key Responsibilities

Summary of your day-to-day;
No two days will look exactly the same, but your focus will always be on making web work harder as a commercial growth channel across EMEA. You'll move between setting strategy, understanding performance, making investment decisions and bringing teams and senior stakeholders together around the priorities that will have the greatest impact.

You'll:
• Own the EMEA web roadmap, turning regional commercial priorities into a clear plan focused on pipeline, SQO, ARR, conversion and ROI.
• Use data to make commercial decisions, digging into funnel performance and customer behaviour to identify opportunities, prioritise investment and make explicit choices about what to scale, improve, deprioritise or stop based on expected commercial return.
• Set the experimentation and CRO agenda, deciding what we test, learn and scale across markets, from journey and form optimisation to personalisation and AI-led conversion.
• Build scalable web capabilities across EMEA, creating common approaches for ABX and vertical journeys, speed-to-lead, measurement, reusable experiences and AI-enabled personalisation, optimisation and self-service, reducing hand-offs and enabling markets to move faster while operating within common standards.
• Bring people with you, partnering with Performance Marketing, Regional Media, SEO/GEO, Product Marketing, Brand, Sales and platform teams to navigate competing priorities and create alignment around the roadmap.
• Lead and develop a high-performing web organisation, creating a culture where ownership, experimentation, pace and measurable commercial impact matter.
• Champion AI-driven performance acceleration, and ensure teams adopt emerging tools that improve speed, scale, targeting, and conversion optimisation.

What we are looking for?
You're a commercially minded digital leader who combines strategic thinking with the ability to turn ideas into measurable results. You're comfortable making decisions using data, challenging priorities and bringing senior stakeholders together in a complex international organisation.

You'll bring:
• Significant leadership experience across web, digital experience, CRO, experimentation, digital performance or conversion in a complex B2B, SaaS or technology environment.
• A strong track record of delivering measurable commercial outcomes through digital and web, whether through pipeline, conversion, revenue or ROI.
• Proven experience building, coaching and retaining high-performing, multi-market teams, including leading leaders.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust, influence senior colleagues and create alignment without relying on direct authority.
• Deep knowledge of web strategy, customer journeys, CRO, experimentation, UX, content, analytics and performance insight.
• A strong commercial and analytical mindset, with experience translating business priorities into clear roadmaps and making evidence-based investment and prioritisation decisions.
• A bold, curious and pragmatic approach, with digital and AI fluency and the ability to operate effectively in ambiguity. Experience working across multilingual European markets and marketing qualifications would be advantageous.
• Be a bold, action-oriented leader with the judgement to challenge priorities, navigate complexity and deliver ambitious commercial outcomes.
• Strong digital and AI fluency, translating emerging capabilities into better customer experience, conversion, scalability and commercial performance.
• Be a proven transformation leader who can set strategy while staying close to execution, simplifying ways of working and building scalable capabilities across markets.
