We're partnering with one of the UK's leading EdTech companies as they continue to expand across the Higher Education sector. With an enviable reputation, an exceptional customer retention rate and ambitious growth plans, they're looking to appoint an experienced Key Account Manager to develop strategic relationships with universities across the UK.
This is an opportunity to inherit an established portfolio of around 30-40 Higher Education customers and become their trusted commercial partner, ensuring they continue to realise maximum value from the platform whilst identifying opportunities to introduce additional solutions and services.

The Role
Reporting into the commercial leadership team, you'll manage a portfolio of Higher Education customers, taking ownership once new clients have successfully completed implementation.
You'll work closely with Customer Success, BD and Product teams to ensure customers continue to achieve their objectives whilst proactively identifying opportunities to strengthen relationships and expand account value.
This is a highly consultative role requiring regular business reviews, commercial discussions and strategic account planning.
You'll be responsible for delivering approximately £500,000 of annual upsell and cross-sell revenue whilst maintaining exceptionally high customer satisfaction and renewal rates.
Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of approximately 30-40 Higher Education customers.
Build trusted relationships across multiple stakeholders within universities.
Lead regular account reviews and strategic planning meetings.
Identify opportunities to introduce additional products and services.
Deliver annual upsell and cross-sell revenue targets.
Support customer renewals and long-term retention.
Work collaboratively with Customer Success and Product teams to maximise customer outcomes.
Maintain accurate account plans and commercial forecasts.
Become a recognised expert within the Higher Education sector.
The Person
We're looking for a proactive Account Manager who enjoys building long-term customer relationships whilst delivering measurable commercial growth.
You'll ideally have experience working within SaaS, software or technology and understand the dynamics of managing strategic customer accounts.
Most importantly, you'll possess the persistence, curiosity and commercial mindset required to uncover opportunities that others might overlook.
You'll likely bring:
Proven Account Management experience within SaaS, software or technology.
Experience working with Further Education or Higher Education customers.
A track record of growing existing customer accounts through upselling and cross-selling.
Strong relationship-building skills across multiple stakeholders.
Excellent commercial and consultative selling skills.
Highly organised with the ability to manage a varied customer portfolio.
Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely.
