Business Development Director

About The Role

We're looking for a dynamic and commercially driven Business Development Director to lead growth across the North UK and National Accounts. Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with the Growth Director, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering our business development strategy, driving new business, nurturing key relationships, and identifying opportunities to expand our market presence.

This is a high-impact leadership role where you'll blend strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You'll represent Atlas at industry events, lead bid and proposal strategies for major opportunities, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to secure sustainable growth. Your work will directly influence our success in creating happiness for our clients, colleagues, and communities.

About You

You're an experienced business development leader with a proven track record of winning high-value contracts and driving sustainable growth. You bring credibility, energy, and commercial insight-someone who thrives on building trusted partnerships and delivering exceptional results.

You'll have:

  • Significant experience in strategic sales, business development, or account leadership, ideally within facilities management or related sectors.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to translate ideas into measurable outcomes.
  • Confidence using data, systems, and digital tools to track and manage performance.
  • Flexibility to travel and connect with clients across the UK.
