EPMA Lead Pharmacy Technician
Job summary
Are you a pharmacy technician who is passionate about innovation and wants to be at the heart of a major digital transformation in NHS medicines management? This is a rare and exciting opportunity to take a leading role in shaping the future of how medicines are prescribed and administered at Salisbury District Hospital.

You will help design safer systems, train colleagues across the hospital, and drive real improvements in patient safety -- all while developing your own skills in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Main duties of the job

Add new medicines, protocols, and administration routes to the EPMA system in collaboration with digital teams and clinical teams
Conduct and document rigorous testing of all new software releases, both during and after implementation
Identify, record, and manage clinical and medicines management risks associated with the EPMA system to minimise patient harm
Deliver EPMA training to all end users across the Trust -- from nurses and doctors to pharmacy staff -- adapting your style to diverse professional audiences
