As they continue to expand, they are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Account Manager to join the team.
Role OverviewThe Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with both vendors and customers. This role requires a proactive, consultative, and strategic approach to achieving sales targets and driving customer engagement.
Key Responsibilities- Achieve monthly and annual gross profit (GP) targets.
- Build and execute growth plans for each account, ensuring a full understanding of their needs.
- Continuously identify and pursue new prospects within key growth markets and technologies.
- Collaborate closely with other enterprise departments to enhance efficiency and customer value.
- Support vendor and commercial initiatives as required.
- Take advantage of training and education opportunities provided by the business and its vendors.
- Work with management to align personal goals with company objectives.
- Develop and execute short, medium, and long-term business plans.
- Maintain an organised, structured approach to account management.
- Consistently meet role-specific KPIs and metrics.
- Effectively articulate and demonstrate the value proposition to customers and partners.
- Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development within the technology sector.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise technology solutions, including server, storage, and infrastructure.
- Ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with customers and vendors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving targets.
- Strong organisational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven decision-making processes.
