As they continue to expand, they are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Account Manager to join the team.

Role Overview

The Account Manager will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and fostering strong relationships with both vendors and customers. This role requires a proactive, consultative, and strategic approach to achieving sales targets and driving customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve monthly and annual gross profit (GP) targets.
  • Build and execute growth plans for each account, ensuring a full understanding of their needs.
  • Continuously identify and pursue new prospects within key growth markets and technologies.
  • Collaborate closely with other enterprise departments to enhance efficiency and customer value.
  • Support vendor and commercial initiatives as required.
  • Take advantage of training and education opportunities provided by the business and its vendors.
  • Work with management to align personal goals with company objectives.
  • Develop and execute short, medium, and long-term business plans.
  • Maintain an organised, structured approach to account management.
  • Consistently meet role-specific KPIs and metrics.
  • Effectively articulate and demonstrate the value proposition to customers and partners.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development within the technology sector.
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise technology solutions, including server, storage, and infrastructure.
  • Ability to build and nurture long-term relationships with customers and vendors.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Proactive, results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving targets.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills; able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and data-driven decision-making processes.
