We're seeking an experienced Product Owner with deep technical knowledge of SSE/SASE platforms to lead the evaluation, implementation, and delivery of secure access services across our enterprise.

This is a pivotal role that bridges cybersecurity architecture, technical delivery, and product lifecycle ownership - supporting our strategic transition to Zero Trust and Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) models.

You will work cross-functionally with security architects, engineering, DevOps, cloud, identity, and vendor teams to define and drive secure, scalable access solutions aligned with modern cloud-native architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and manage the product backlog for SSE/SASE capabilities (e.g., ZTNA, CASB, SWG, DLP, etc.)
• Lead vendor evaluations, scoring models, and PoCs for tools such as Zscaler, Netskope, Prisma Access, Cloudflare One, etc.
• Translate security architecture principles (Zero Trust, SASE) into actionable user stories, epics, and sprint plans.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on PoC setup, performance testing, latency/PoP validation, and policy enforcement.
• Define and measure KPIs, SLAs, and success metrics (e.g., threat coverage, latency impact, policy adherence).
• Ensure integration of SSE tools with identity providers (Azure AD), SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk), and DevSecOps pipelines.
• Support change, readiness, and adoption across business and technical teams.
• Manage security vendor relationships and roadmap alignment during evaluation and rollout.
• Drive delivery in agile/DevSecOps environments using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, etc.

Required Experience & Skills

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or Technical Product Manager in a security or cloud infrastructure context.
• Hands-on involvement in SSE / SASE tool evaluation and implementation.
• Strong understanding of technologies such as:
• ZTNA, CASB, SWG, DLP, FWaaS
• Zscaler, Netskope, Prisma Access, Cloudflare One, Cisco Umbrella
• Zero Trust frameworks (Gartner, NIST, CARTA, etc.)
• Ability to collaborate across technical and non-technical stakeholders (engineering, architecture, CISO, compliance).
• Experience working in agile environments, managing security delivery via backlogs, stories, and iterations.
• Familiarity with Azure/GCP, CI/CD environments, and tools like OPA/Gatekeeper, Apigee, etc. a plus.

• Prior experience with SIEM/SOAR integration, API security, or Identity Governance
