Freelance German-Speaking Strategist (B2B)

We're looking for a German-speaking Strategist to support a B2B marketing team on a freelance basis. This is a short-term contract to provide additional capacity, with an immediate start preferred.

This role is fully remote and open to freelancers based in the UK or Germany.

The role

You'll support the German team with B2B marketing strategy, working across planning, positioning, and written strategy development. This is not a translation role, you'll be creating marketing strategies and content in German, so native-level written and spoken German is essential.

Responsibilities
  • Developing strategies in German for B2B clients

  • Writing and reviewing German-language strategic content

  • Supporting ongoing client work for technology-led and complex organisations

  • Collaborating with other strategists and marketing teams remotely

  • Providing short-term cover while a senior strategist is on leave

Skills & experience
  • Native-level German language skills (reading, writing, and speaking)

  • Experience in B2B strategy

  • Comfortable creating strategic content in German

  • Experience working with complex products, services, or industries (public sector exposure is a plus but not essential)

  • Able to work independently and manage workload on a part-time basis
