Job Description:

Emerging technologies such as cloud-native platforms, distributed systems, and automated delivery pipelines are transforming how modern financial infrastructures are built and operated.

The Innovation Tribe is driving this transformation by delivering scalable, secure, and resilient digital platforms, including the Digital Asset Platform.

To support this ambition, we are looking for an Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer who will play a key role in building, operating, and integrating platform infrastructure in close collaboration with GTS (Group Technology Services).

You will ensure that our solutions are deployed on robust, compliant, and production-ready environments, while enabling engineering teams to deliver efficiently through automation, DevOps practices, and platform capabilities.

This is a hands-on role at the intersection of cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and enterprise platform services, with strong exposure to GTS processes and standards.

Summary

As an Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer, you will focus on enabling and operationalizing the platform infrastructure, ensuring alignment with GTS services, standards, and governance.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, platform architects, and GTS stakeholders to design, automate, and maintain environments across the full lifecycle-from development to production.

Your mission is to ensure that infrastructure and deployment processes are secure, scalable, automated, and aligned with enterprise requirements, while reducing friction for delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • GTS Collaboration & Integration Work closely with GTS teams to provision, configure, and manage infrastructure services aligned with enterprise standards and processes.
  • Infrastructure as Code & Automation Design and implement infrastructure using IaC tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep), enabling consistent and repeatable deployments.
  • CI/CD Pipeline Implementation Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes, ensuring fast and reliable delivery.
  • Environment Provisioning & Management Set up and manage environments (DEV, TEST, PPE, PROD), ensuring readiness, stability, and compliance with operational requirements.
  • Cloud Platform Engineering Deploy and manage cloud resources (Azure preferred), including networking, compute, storage, and platform services.
  • Security & Compliance by Design Implement security controls (identity, access, secrets management, network security) in line with CISO and GTS requirements.
  • Monitoring, Observability & Reliability Ensure systems are observable and resilient by implementing logging, monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization.
  • Release & Deployment Support Support release processes, ensuring infrastructure readiness and smooth deployment into production environments.
  • Troubleshooting & Incident Support Diagnose and resolve infrastructure-related issues across environments, working with GTS and engineering teams.
  • Continuous Improvement Identify opportunities to improve automation, reduce manual effort, and optimize infrastructure cost, performance, and reliability.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Strong experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or cloud engineering roles.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and modern infrastructure concepts.
  • Strong knowledge of:
    • CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, etc.)
    • Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM, or similar)
    • Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Solid understanding of networking, security, and system design fundamentals.
  • Experience working with enterprise IT environments and shared platform teams (e.g. GTS).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders.

You Are:

  • A hands-on engineer who enjoys building and automating infrastructure
  • A strong collaborator, comfortable working with GTS and cross-functional teams
  • Proactive and solution-oriented, able to anticipate and resolve issues early
  • Structured and detail-oriented, ensuring compliance and quality in every deployment
  • Passionate about automation, cloud technologies, and DevOps practices
  • Comfortable working in a complex, regulated, and high-impact environment
  • Motivated to contribute to building a scalable and future-proof digital platform
