Hybrid - 3 days a week in London
We are seeking an experienced Murex Migration Specialist to join a leading programme of work. You will play a key role in supporting and delivering migration projects, ensuring smooth transitions of Treasury products and configurations within the Murex environment. This position requires a blend of Treasury product expertise and hands-on Murex technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute Murex migration activities, including environment setup, configuration, and validation.
- Gather business requirements from Treasury stakeholders and translate them into technical solutions.
- Design, develop, and maintain MxML workflows for trade booking, static data, and market data migrations.
- Develop and optimise scripts to support migration processes and automation.
- Configure and maintain Datamart reporting solutions for business and regulatory reporting.
- Conduct functional and technical testing to ensure accurate migration and system integrity.
- Troubleshoot issues across MxML workflows, Datamart configurations, and related Murex components.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and IT teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Produce documentation, knowledge transfer, and provide post-migration support.
- Proven Murex experience, with expertise in MxML Exchange (design, development, troubleshooting).
- Hands-on experience in migration projects within Treasury products.
- Solid knowledge of Treasury products such as FX, MM, IRD, Bonds, Commodities.
- Strong technical expertise in:
- MxML scripting (workflow development, data transformation)
- Datamart (design, reporting, optimisation)
- Scripting languages (Unix Shell, Python, or equivalent)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, able to work both independently and within a team.
- Excellent communication skills, engaging effectively with business and technical stakeholders.
- Exposure to Murex v3 platform.
- Experience with regulatory reporting migrations.
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL/Oracle).
- Experience in large-scale system upgrades or transformation projects.
