Backend Engineer

They're seeking a talented Backend Software Engineer to build and scale the core services powering their AI platform.

Responsibilities Design and develop scalable backend services using Golang and Python .

Build and optimise APIs, databases and large-scale data pipelines.

Develop reliable distributed systems handling significant traffic and data volumes.

Improve performance, scalability, observability and infrastructure efficiency.

Own features end to end, collaborating with ML, frontend and infrastructure engineers.

Requirements Strong backend engineering experience, ideally Go or Python (other languages considered).

Experience building scalable APIs, databases and distributed systems.

Cloud experience, ideally AWS; Kubernetes, Pulumi or Grafana advantageous.

Experience developing production systems at scale.

Ideally a startup, scale-up or high-growth technology background.

Strong technical ownership, problem-solving and communication skills.

Experience: 4-5 years as a guide, with ability valued over tenure.
