Business Development Manager – IT
We’re hiring an experienced Business Development Manager to drive net-new business in the mid-market IT space. This role is about winning new logos, building strong client relationships, and growing accounts into consistent, high-value revenue.
What you’ll be doing
- Winning and developing new business accounts through outbound prospecting and networking
- Building a strong, sustainable new business pipeline
- Identifying project opportunities and working with internal specialists to close them
- Negotiating confidently with customers, vendors, and distributors
- Consistently hitting (and exceeding) monthly, quarterly, and annual GP targets
- Accurately forecasting sales activity and performance
What we’re looking for
- Proven success in new business IT sales (mid-market ideal)
- Strong knowledge of current IT themes (e.g. infrastructure, networking, security, cloud)
- Confident cold caller and meeting booker (circa 14 booked / 10 attended per month)
- Commercial mindset with a passion for winning and growing accounts
- Excellent communicator, comfortable engaging from technical contacts to C-suite
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and highly customer-focused
