We're working with a leading UK retail brand, a genuine household name that defines its category, to find an Customer Analytics Manager to join them at the heart of a major digital transformation
The role
You'll be a commercially minded analytics leader sitting at the center of the business, using data to answer the biggest questions facing the marketing and product teams
What You'll own
- Own the CRM, Loyalty and marketing performance analytics agenda - turning customer data into insight that shapes retention, engagement and commercial decisions
- Leading deep-dives into customer lifetime value (LTV), acquisition costs (CAC), and multi-channel attribution to inform commercial decision-making
- Lead planning, prioritisation and delivery, managing the backlog with Agile practices and making clear trade-off calls.
- Run complex, high-value analysis and forecasting, setting the analytical bar through robust methods and strong commercial judgement
- Coach and develop analysts, building technical capability, commercial awareness and stakeholder influence
- Translate ambiguous questions into structured approaches, building trusted relationships across CRM, Marketing, Digital and Commercial
The Technical bar
- Strong hands-on analytical background - fluent in complex SQL and languages like Python or R, with solid grounding in statistical methods (hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, p-values) and cloud platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake or BigQuery
- Proven leader of analytical teams in complex matrix environments, comfortable managing multiple stakeholders, deadlines and deliverables, and developing, coaching and motivating highly technical people
- Experienced in marketing campaign and CRM design and analysis - using customer data to drive retention, loyalty and omnichannel personalisation, and to measure and optimise marketing impact
- Commercially minded and curious - translating business problems into analytical goals, prioritising impact, and a strong storyteller who brings insight to life through clear visuals and compelling reporting
