Data Product Analyst
Salt is excited to collaborate with a global media and technology organisation as they hire a Data Product Analyst to join their Decision Sciences team on an ASAP starting (6 month / temp-to-perm) opportunity.
This role blends analytics with product strategy and plays a key part in the evolution of an international data platform. You’ll work cross-functionally to turn complex datasets into meaningful insights that guide product development and drive performance improvements.

If you're detail-oriented, collaborative, and data-savvy - with a passion for shaping product experiences - we want to hear from you!
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to inform strategic product decisions
- Monitor and report on product performance metrics, suggesting enhancements where needed
- Conduct market and competitive research to support product innovation
- Partner with teams across engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure cohesive, data-informed decision-making
- Support the implementation of data governance practices to ensure accuracy and consistency
Key Experience required:
- 2-3 years of experience working with complex data sets in cloud environments
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualisation tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Familiarity with Databricks, Snowflake, and programming languages like Python or R is a plus
- Ability to translate complex findings into clear insights for diverse audiences
- Strong attention to detail and data integrity
