We are recruiting a Digital Services Manager for a local district council on an initial 3-month contract. This role requires a minimum of 1 day per week on-site.

Working Pattern: 3 days per week, 08:30-17:00

Role Purpose

Provide interim leadership for the delivery and management of digital services. You will lead teams, manage digital products, build strong internal relationships, and drive continuous service improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee live digital services and ensure reliability
  • Act as escalation point for incidents, problems, and service requests
  • Work with internal teams to reduce service demand and improve performance
  • Use user feedback to enhance digital experiences
  • Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and governance standards
  • Deliver service improvements using project management skills
  • Manage suppliers and budgets

About You

  • Experience managing digital services and teams
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies
  • Background in digital development and service delivery
