We are recruiting a Digital Services Manager for a local district council on an initial 3-month contract. This role requires a minimum of 1 day per week on-site.
Working Pattern: 3 days per week, 08:30-17:00
Role PurposeProvide interim leadership for the delivery and management of digital services. You will lead teams, manage digital products, build strong internal relationships, and drive continuous service improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee live digital services and ensure reliability
- Act as escalation point for incidents, problems, and service requests
- Work with internal teams to reduce service demand and improve performance
- Use user feedback to enhance digital experiences
- Ensure compliance with data protection, security, and governance standards
- Deliver service improvements using project management skills
- Manage suppliers and budgets
About You
- Experience managing digital services and teams
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies
- Background in digital development and service delivery
