The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Head of Presales to lead and scale a Microsoft-centric presales function within a fast-growing IT distributor focused on the SMB MSP and reseller channel.
Microsoft sits at the heart of our portfolio, delivered via the CSP model, supported by Adobe and a carefully selected cybersecurity vendor ecosystem. This is a strategic leadership role with full ownership of Modern Workplace presales capability — focused on building scalable, repeatable solution plays rather than reactive, one-off designs.
This is an opportunity to shape structure, engagement models, and technical direction within a high-growth environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a Modern Workplace presales team supporting SMB partners
- Act as senior technical authority for Microsoft CSP and M365 licensing
- Support partners with solution design, positioning, and deal acceleration
- Build repeatable Microsoft-led solution frameworks
- Align closely with Microsoft, Adobe, and cybersecurity vendors
- Define clear presales engagement models and prioritisation structures
- Support complex and high-value deals while protecting scale and margin
Technical Leadership Across:
- Microsoft 365 Business & Enterprise
- Security & compliance (Defender, Entra, Purview)
- Intune & endpoint management
- Power BI for SMB use cases
- Microsoft Copilot readiness, governance, licensing & value positioning
Essential Experience
- Senior presales leadership within IT distribution, MSP ecosystems, or vendor-led channel environments
- Deep expertise in Microsoft CSP and Modern Workplace
- Strong M365 licensing knowledge
- Experience aligning cybersecurity solutions to protect Microsoft environments
- Clear understanding of SMB customers and MSP operating models
- Commercial mindset — balancing technical depth with deal outcomes
- Experience leading senior technical or solutions teams
Desirable
- Adobe licensing or presales experience
- Marketplace / CSP platform exposure
- Vendor programme engagement (Microsoft partner designations, incentives)
