DV Cleared Senior Linux System Administrator - Reading (On-Site)

An opportunity is available for a DV Cleared Senior Linux System Administrator to join a specialist team supporting a secure, large-scale big data platform for a critical national infrastructure programme.

Location: Reading - 100% On-Site, Monday-Friday (37.5 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, maintain and optimise Linux server environments.
• Manage VMware vSphere/ESXi infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain automation using Ansible and Bash Scripting.
• Troubleshoot complex Linux, networking, storage and performance issues.
• Support secure IT infrastructure and CI/CD environments.

Essential Skills:

• Strong Linux administration (RHEL, Rocky Linux or similar)
• VMware vSphere/ESXi
• Ansible or equivalent automation tools
• Bash/Shell Scripting
• Networking, storage and troubleshooting
• CI/CD and infrastructure security
