Claims Specialist

Our client is a leading Lloyd’s Broker that specialises in providing innovative insurance solutions for complex risks, with a strong focus on Cyber insurance. They are dedicated to delivering exceptional service and expertise to our clients, navigating the evolving landscape of cyber threats and claims.

They are looking to recruit a Cyber Claims specialist, ideally with exposure to claims emanating from the US, to carry out the following key responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and respond to cyber insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather information and documentation necessary for claims assessment.
  • Evaluate claims to determine coverage under cyber insurance policies and make recommendations.
  • Liaise with legal, underwriting, and risk management teams to resolve claims effectively.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging cyber threats to inform claims handling processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in handling US Cyber claims within a broker, MGA, or insurance company setting.
  • Strong understanding of cyber insurance products and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to assess complex claims.
  • Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in insurance or risk management are a plus.
