Hybrid whilst obtaining security clearance: once granted full time site work due to the nature of the project
A leading IT services organisation is seeking Cloud System Administrators at various experience levels to support and optimise cloud and virtualisation environments across public, private, and hybrid platforms. Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and operate cloud and virtualisation infrastructure (eg VMware, Hyper-V, KVM).
- Support cloud migration projects across platforms like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Design scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or PowerShell.
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues across storage, networking, and compute.
- Maintain documentation and support compliance with security and recovery practices.
What You'll Bring:
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL best practices.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Excellent communication and adaptability in agile environments.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with containerisation and Kubernetes.
- Strong knowledge of virtualisation technologies and public cloud platforms.
- Automation skills using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
- Understanding of networking, storage, Active Directory, and IT security.
- Relevant cloud certifications (eg AWS, Azure).
