Content Designer

We're recruiting for an experienced Content Designer to join a major public sector digital programme, helping to create clear, accessible and user-focused content for high-profile digital services.

This is an excellent opportunity to work within a multidisciplinary Agile team, shaping content that helps users complete tasks quickly and confidently while improving overall service experience.

The Role

As a Content Designer, you'll work closely with stakeholders, researchers, designers and delivery teams to understand complex business challenges and transform them into simple, intuitive user journeys and content.

You'll use evidence from user research, analytics and feedback to create, test and iterate content, ensuring services meet user needs while adhering to accessibility and content design best practice.

Key Responsibilities

Create content that meets user needs and simplifies complex information and processes
Write, edit, publish and continuously improve digital content
Use user research, analytics, feedback and data to inform content decisions
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams within an Agile environment
Build strong relationships with stakeholders while maintaining content quality and user focus
Contribute to content strategies, standards and reusable content patterns
Use prototyping techniques to communicate ideas quickly and effectively
Manage priorities across multiple deliverables in a fast-paced delivery environment

Essential Experience

Proven Content Designer experience within Agile digital delivery teams
Strong user-centred design mindset
Experience creating content for complex digital services
Ability to interpret user research, data and analytics to drive decisions
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience developing content standards, patterns and strategies
Comfortable working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams
Experience using prototyping approaches to test and validate content concepts

Clearance & Eligibility

BPSS eligible
Mandatory: 5 years continuous UK residency

Contract Details

Role: Content Designer
Contract Length: 6 months
Rate: £450 per day
Engagement: Inside IR35
Location: Primarily Remote within the UK
Occasional travel may be required depending on project needs
