We are looking for an experienced Oracle Data Engineer to join a major government programme, supporting the design, development and optimisation of enterprise-scale data solutions within a secure environment.

Working as part of a multidisciplinary delivery team, you will play a key role in building robust data pipelines, integrating complex datasets and enabling data-driven decision-making across critical services.

Essential Requirements:

Active SC Clearance
SC clearance must have been used within the last 12 months
SC clearance must have a minimum of 3 years remaining before expiry
Strong experience as an Oracle Data Engineer or similar data-focused role
Expertise in Oracle Database technologies, including PL/SQL
Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT processes
Strong SQL development and performance tuning skills
Experience working with large-scale and complex data environments
Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders

Desirable Experience:

Government, public sector or defence experience
Experience with Oracle Data Integrator (ODI)
Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Oracle Cloud, Azure or AWS
Experience with data warehousing and data modelling methodologies
Exposure to data governance, security and compliance frameworks

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build and maintain scalable Oracle-based data solutions
Develop and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines and integration processes
Support data migration, transformation and validation activities
Ensure high levels of data quality, integrity and performance
Collaborate with architects, analysts and delivery teams to implement data requirements
Troubleshoot and resolve complex data and database issues
Contribute to best practices, standards and continuous improvement initiatives
