Salary: £35-40k + Benefits (OTE c.£60k)

A fast-growing, well-established cyber security provider is seeking a talented Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join their expanding team. The Opportunity

As an SDR, you’ll be the first point of contact for prospective clients, playing a key role in shaping their first impression. You'll be responsible for generating new business opportunities, qualifying leads, and supporting cross-sell and upsell efforts with existing customers. Collaborating closely with both the marketing and sales teams, you’ll execute targeted outreach strategies and book high-quality meetings that drive pipeline growth.

This role is perfect for someone with previous sales or lead generation experience who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow their career within cyber security.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify key decision-makers within target accounts through research and outreach.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media.
  • Qualify inbound and outbound leads to build a strong sales pipeline.
  • Book discovery calls and meetings for the senior sales team.
  • Support marketing campaigns by responding to and nurturing leads.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions and progress using CRM tools.
  • Stay current on industry trends, cyber threats, and emerging solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing to improve messaging and outreach effectiveness.

What Success Looks Like

  • Consistently exceeding monthly targets for qualified meetings set.
  • Demonstrating a strong contribution to lead pipeline quality and conversion rates.
  • Timely and professional follow-up on all prospects and inbound interest.
  • Maintaining clean, detailed records within the CRM system.
  • Evidencing learning and development around cyber security and sales best practices.

What We're Looking For

  • 2+ years’ experience in sales, lead generation, or a customer-facing commercial role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Confidence with cold outreach and objection handling.
  • Strong organisational skills and a self-motivated attitude.
  • A genuine interest in cyber security and technology.
  • Experience with tools like LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Outreach, or similar is a plus.
