Position: Virtualisation Engineer
Location: Cheltenham/Gloucestershire
Salary band: £50,000 to £60,000 per annum
Clearance: Willingness to undergo a security clearance process is required

What You'll Be Doing
- Providing first and second-line technical support across complex virtualised environments
- Monitoring system performance to ensure stability, availability, and seamless functionality
- Creating and maintaining high-quality documentation to support operational excellence
- Supporting compliance with established processes, standards, and security policies
What You'll Bring

Desirable Skills
- Deep understanding of virtualisation technologies
- Experience installing, upgrading, configuring, or supporting: Windows Server 2016/2019, AWS, Azure
- Knowledge of Red Hat technologies (Satellite 6, OpenShift 3/4, RHEL/CentOS, CoreOS)
- Understanding of Active Directory (OU creation, RBAC, DFS)
- Familiarity with VSAN, SCVMM, Hyper-V
- Networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, LAN/WAN)
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, Git)
- Awareness of McAfee EPO/ENS
