Data Architect - Palantir Foundry (Health Domain)Location: UK (Hybrid)Travel: Leeds 1-2 days per weekRate: Up to £700 per day (Inside IR35)Contract OnlyClearance: SC Eligible RequiredThe OpportunityWe are looking for a highly experienced Data Architect with deep expertise in Palantir Foundry to lead the design, modelling, and governance of next-generation data platforms across the UK healthcare sector.This role offers the opportunity to work on large-scale, high-impact programmes , shaping how clinical, operational, and population-level insights are delivered using one of the world's most advanced data platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end architecture of Palantir Foundry, covering data integration, pipelines, transformations, ontology modelling, governance, and operational applicationsOwn and evolve the enterprise ontology , defining object types, links, actions, and semantic relationships across clinical and operational domainsDesign scalable, modular, and governed data pipelines , following Foundry best practices (DRY principles, no circular dependencies)Integrate structured, unstructured, streaming, and IoT/device datasets using Foundry ingestion frameworksDeliver ontology-driven data products , including:KPIs and analytics frameworksData martsClinical pathway and care coordination insightsWorkforce planning and command centre capabilitiesImplement robust data governance , including:Security and classification modelsPurpose-based access controlsFull lineage, auditability, and regulatory complianceCollaborate closely with clinicians, analysts, engineers, DevOps teams, and senior stakeholders(Desirable) Support Foundry deployments on AWS (S3, KMS, multi-AZ, CloudWatch, Well-Architected Framework)Required ExperienceExtensive hands-on Palantir Foundry expertise (pipelines, transforms, ontology, governance, operational apps)Strong understanding of healthcare datasets , including:EPR / PASFHIR / HL7Clinical coding and workforce dataProven experience in:Enterprise data modelling / semantic layer / ontology designDelivering within regulated environments (NHS, ICS, Government, or large healthcare providers)Strong stakeholder management and communication skills , with the ability to influence at all levelsHighly DesirablePalantir Foundry Solution Architect CertificationAWS Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional)TOGAF / BCS Enterprise ArchitecturePreferred SkillsKnowledge of interoperability standards ( FHIR, HL7v2, SNOMED CT )Experience with AWS-based data platformsFamiliarity with DevOps practices (CI/CD, IaC, GitOps)Experience designing data quality and governance frameworksWhy Apply Work on national-scale healthcare transformation programmesInfluence cutting-edge data architecture decisionsCompetitive day rate up to £700 Inside IR35Flexible hybrid working?
