SC cleared Data Architect (AWS) - Public SectorDuration: 6 monthsStart Date: FlexibleRate: £550 - £700 (depending on SFIA level)Location: London or Manchester (hybrid)Clearance: SCOverviewWe're looking for a Data Architect to design secure, scalable AWS data platforms that support public sector transformation and data-driven decision making.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end data architectures on AWS (data lakes, warehouses, streaming)Define data models, standards, and governance frameworksEnsure compliance with data security and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR)Lead data platform modernisation and migration initiativesCollaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutionsDrive best practices in data quality, integration, and lifecycle managementKey SkillsStrong AWS data experience (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Lake Formation, Athena)Proven experience in public sector or regulated environmentsData modelling (conceptual, logical, physical) expertiseKnowledge of data governance, security, and complianceExperience with ETL/ELT, APIs, and data integration toolsNice to HaveAWS certifications (e.g., Data Analytics Specialty, Solutions Architect)Experience with big data, streaming (Kafka/Kinesis), or AI/ML workloadsReasonable Adjustments:Respect and equality are core values to us.
