Remote (UK-based) with fortnightly travel to London / Manchester / Newcastle
9-Month Contract
£420/day (Inside IR35)
We're looking for an experienced Service Designer to join a high-profile public sector programme. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape user-centred services that deliver real impact at scale.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and deliver user-centred design activities across complex services
- Plan and execute user research (interviews, surveys, focus groups, usability testing)
- Apply service design frameworks and methodologies to improve end-to-end service experiences
- Create and maintain user personas, empathy maps, and journey maps
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to translate research insights into actionable design improvements
- Contribute to service transformation initiatives within a public sector environment
- Active SC Clearance (desirable) OR eligible to obtain (mandatory 5 years UK residency )
- UK Citizen and based in the UK
- Strong experience with user research methodologies and practical application
