Chief Technology Officer (£100,000 - £130,000 + package)

Virtue Vets is building a premium, design-led, multi-site veterinary and pet wellness brand - with clear ambitions to become the Third Space within its category.
We are now looking for a CTO who understands how technology enables a physical, customer-facing, multi-location business -not just digital products in isolation.
This is a build-from-scratch role, working directly with the Founder.
What this role actually involves:
This is not a pure SaaS or platform CTO role.
You will own and build technology across a real-world, multi-site operating environment, including:
- Customer booking, CRM and lifecycle systems
- Clinic operations, workflows and site-level performance
- Payments, POS and customer experience platforms
- Integrations across physical + digital touchpoints
- Data, reporting and commercial insight across multiple locations
You’ll be responsible for ensuring technology directly improves customer experience, operational efficiency and unit economics as the business scales.
What we’re specifically looking for:
We are only interested in profiles with relevant multi-site, consumer-facing experience.
You will likely have:
- Built or led technology in a multi-site retail, hospitality, healthcare or leisure business
- Experience with omnichannel environments (physical + digital customer journeys)
- Delivered systems across booking / CRM / POS / payments / customer platforms
- Worked closely with founders or senior operators in a high-growth environment
- Built teams and systems from early-stage through scale
This role is NOT suited to:
- Pure fintech / banking / payments backgrounds
- Enterprise-only / corporate transformation roles
- CTOs with no exposure to physical, multi-site operations

This is a hands-on, founder-mode role.
