A2R Lead

Our Blue Chip Public Sector Client is looking for an A2R Lead with experience of large finance transformations/ERP and will focus on all aspects of the Account-to-Report (A2R) function. It will be an initial 6 month contract via an Umbrella company, and will be hybrid working, remote and occasionally to Devon

The role is responsible for ensuring the successful preparation, validation, and input of A2R-related data and processes into a new finance solution.

You will lead the design and readiness of core A2R elements including reporting structures, cost centre hierarchies, and month-end processes, ensuring all aspects are aligned with the target operating model and future-state system design.

Essential Skills

• Solid understanding of A2R/General Ledger processes, reporting structures, and finance data hierarchies
• Proven experience in financial system implementations, ERP migrations, or finance transformation projects
• Hands-on experience with data structures including chart of accounts, cost centre hierarchies, and month-end processes
• Proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems (eg, SAP, Oracle, Workday)

Would be desirable to have an accountancy qualification such as ACCA/CIMA
