Contract Content Designer (Hybrid UK)

Content Designer/Content Design Lead/Digital copywriter
Remote working - twice a month on site
£450 day rate - umbrella engagement

Key Responsibilities

• Lead content design for service and aftersales journey for a well known and highly reputable retail brand.
• Audit and streamline content to improve clarity and reduce duplication.
• Create effective IA, navigation and microcopy that supports user flows.
• Ensure content meets accessibility and inclusive design standards.
• Work closely with Product Designers/Researchers and support teams in best-practice content design.

Required Experience

• Strong experience as a Content Designer/UX Copywriter on complex digital products.
• Hands-on experience with service/support journeys (returns, delivery issues, complaints).
• Solid understanding of IA, content structure and accessibility.
• Able to work independently and influence design quality across teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience in retail or high-traffic service environments.
• Experience mentoring others in content design.
