Power Platform Developer

£520/day Outside IR35 - Central London (3 days per week) - Active SC Clearance Required - NPPV3 Desirable - Contract until 31 March 2027

We're seeking an experienced Power Platform Developer to join a major programme within a secure environment.

This is a hands-on delivery role focused on the design, development and enhancement of Power Platform solutions. You'll work closely with technical and business stakeholders to develop scalable applications, automate business processes and support the delivery of business-critical services.

The successful candidate will have strong experience developing Power Apps solutions, particularly Canvas Apps, alongside a solid understanding of Dataverse and data modelling. You'll also bring experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio and be comfortable engaging directly with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into practical technical solutions.

Key responsibilities:

* Design, build and maintain Power Platform solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate and Dataverse

* Develop Canvas Apps and support data model design within Dataverse

* Configure and enhance Microsoft Copilot Studio solutions

* Develop custom functionality using HTML, JavaScript and related web technologies

* Work closely with business users to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions

* Support integration activities across Microsoft and third-party platforms

* Contribute to solution design discussions and technical workshops

* Troubleshoot and resolve application, integration and automation issues

* Produce technical documentation and contribute to development standards and best practices

Required experience:

* Strong Power Apps development experience, particularly Canvas Apps

* Strong understanding of Dataverse and data modelling

* Experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio

* Experience developing solutions using HTML, JavaScript and related web technologies

* Experience delivering Power Platform solutions within enterprise environments

* Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

* Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Experience working within Agile delivery environments

* Active SC Clearance

Desirable:

* NPPV3 Clearance

* Dynamics 365 experience

* Azure services and integrations

* Power Platform governance and Centre of Excellence (CoE) experience

* Previous experience delivering within policing, law enforcement or wider public sector environments

This role would suit an experienced Power Platform Developer, Senior Power Platform Developer, Dynamics 365 Developer or Power Platform Consultant looking for a long-term programme where they can remain hands-on while working on complex, high-profile solutions.
