Salary: Up to £63,000 + benefits
A fantastic opportunity is available for an experienced Programme Manager to join a purpose-driven organisation delivering innovation and transformation programmes with real-world impact.
Reporting to the Head of Programme Management, you will take end-to-end accountability for the successful delivery of complex programmes and associated projects, ensuring strategic objectives are translated into effective execution, governance, and measurable outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading programmes from mobilisation through to delivery and closure
- Managing programme governance, reporting, risks, dependencies, and budgets
- Coordinating multiple project workstreams within a Matrix environment
- Engaging senior stakeholders, boards, and delivery teams
- Overseeing suppliers, contracts, and Statements of Work
- Driving continuous improvement, lessons learned, and outcome-focused delivery
Key experience required:
- Proven experience delivering complex multi-workstream programmes
- Strong governance, RAID, and stakeholder management expertise
- Programme management qualifications such as MSP, PRINCE2, or APM
- Financial management and budget oversight experience
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience within public sector, innovation, research, or regulated environments desirable
