Technical Architect - Fully Remote - BPSS EligibleSalary - £75,000Are you an experienced Technical Architect looking to shape innovative digital services and software solutions?
We're seeking a Technical Architect to lead the design and delivery of scalable, secure, and user-centric technology solutions. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, you'll provide architectural leadership from initial concept through to implementation, helping organisations make informed technology decisions and deliver impactful digital products.
The RoleAs a Technical Architect, you will: Design solution architectures for complex software and digital servicesProvide technical leadership and guidance throughout the delivery lifecycleCreate and maintain architecture documentation, models, and design artefactsSupport development teams in implementing architectural solutionsDrive governance activities and ensure compliance with architecture, security, and data standardsFacilitate technical decision-making with stakeholders at all levelsDevelop technical roadmaps and contribute to agile delivery planningMentor junior colleagues and contribute to practice development and business growthAbout YouYou'll have: Proven experience designing architectures for complex digital platforms and software solutionsStrong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP), APIs, integration patterns, and modern software engineering practicesExperience producing architecture documentation and using modelling approaches such as C4, UML, or ArchiMateStrong stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiencesExperience working within architecture governance and assurance processesA track record of supporting agile delivery teams from design through to implementationA technology-agnostic mindset, focused on delivering the right solution for the challengeAn understanding of user-centred design principles and how they influence technology decisionsDesirable ExperienceExperience working within consultancy environmentsKnowledge of public sector standards, frameworks, or digital service deliveryExperience working across distributed, multidisciplinary teamsWhat's on OfferThis is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping modern digital services, working alongside talented technology, data, design, and delivery professionals while supporting organisations through complex digital transformation initiatives.
