AI Architect - Power Platform / Co-pilot Studio

Contract: 6 months
IR35: Outside IR35
Location: London - 3 days per week
Clearance: Ideally SC + NPPV3

We are looking for an experienced AI Architect with strong Microsoft Power Platform and Co-pilot Studio experience to support a major transformation programme.

The role will initially focus on a specific workstream, introducing Power Apps and AI-enabled solutions into an existing operational environment, with scope to support wider areas across the programme.

This is a hands-on architecture role combining solution design with practical delivery. You will be expected to create AI agents and Power Platform solutions while also defining an architecture that can operate effectively within a secure and restricted environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and architect AI-enabled solutions using the Microsoft technology stack.

• Build and configure solutions using Copilot Studio and Power Apps.

• Develop AI agents aligned to operational and business requirements.

• Define scalable and secure architecture for deployment within restricted environments.

• Work closely with engineering, delivery and operational teams to move solutions from concept into implementation.

• Identify opportunities to apply AI and automation across a workstream and wider programme.

• Balance usability, security, technical constraints and operational requirements.

• Provide technical guidance and architecture oversight throughout delivery.

Key Experience

• Strong experience designing and delivering AI solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem.

• Intermediate to expert-level experience with Microsoft Copilot Studio.

• Strong Power Apps / Power Platform development knowledge.

• Experience creating AI agents and automation solutions.

• Ability to move between hands-on development and solution architecture.

• Experience working within secure, regulated or technically restricted environments.

• Strong stakeholder engagement across technical and non-technical teams.

• Previous policing, defence, government or national security experience would be highly beneficial.

• Ideally hold active SC and NPPV3 clearance.
