AWS Cloud Developer 5 Days On-Site
We're seeking talented Cloud Platform Developers to join a major digital transformation programme within a secure enterprise or government environment. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team designing and developing innovative cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, and private cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with delivery, architecture, and engineering teams to design and implement scalable cloud solutions.

Develop and deploy secure, automated, and resilient services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps principles.

Advise stakeholders on modern cloud technologies, methodologies, and automation strategies.

Ensure all solutions meet security, compliance, and operational requirements.

Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable delivery.

Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and automation initiatives within the team.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in agile teams.

Passion for modern cloud technologies and automation.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, delivery-focused approach.

Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.

Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, React).

Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Concourse).

Familiarity with web/application servers such as NGINX, Apache, or JBoss.

Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Nagios, Splunk, DataDog, New Relic, etc.).

Understanding of security and identity management (OAuth2, SSO, ADFS, Keycloak, etc.).

Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, Subversion).

Working knowledge of database technologies and query languages.

Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and agile delivery practices.
