AWS Cloud Developer 5 Days On-Site

We're seeking talented Cloud Platform Developers to join a major digital transformation programme within a secure enterprise or government environment. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team designing and developing innovative cloud-based solutions using AWS, Azure, and private cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with delivery, architecture, and engineering teams to design and implement scalable cloud solutions.

• Develop and deploy secure, automated, and resilient services using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and DevOps principles.

• Advise stakeholders on modern cloud technologies, methodologies, and automation strategies.

• Ensure all solutions meet security, compliance, and operational requirements.

• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable delivery.

• Contribute to continuous improvement, innovation, and automation initiatives within the team.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in agile teams.

• Passion for modern cloud technologies and automation.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive, delivery-focused approach.

• Adaptability and enthusiasm for learning in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud platforms.

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

• Proficiency in one or more programming or scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, React).

• Knowledge of containerisation and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift).

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, TeamCity, Concourse).

• Familiarity with web/application servers such as NGINX, Apache, or JBoss.

• Exposure to monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Nagios, Splunk, DataDog, New Relic, etc.).

• Understanding of security and identity management (OAuth2, SSO, ADFS, Keycloak, etc.).

• Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, Subversion).

• Working knowledge of database technologies and query languages.

• Familiarity with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and agile delivery practices.
