Automation QA Engineer
Role: Automation QA engineer Salary: Up to £75,000 per year Location: London Flexible working: 3 days per week onsite
We're working with a leading financial services organisation that's investing heavily in technology and expanding its QA function due to continued business growth.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to become the first UK-based QA supporting a growing European technology team. You'll take ownership of testing for an Agile squad, working closely with Developers, Product Owners and Business Analysts while collaborating with an established US QA team.
What you'll be doing
- Design and execute manual and automated test cases
- Build and maintain Selenium automation frameworks in C#
- Create automated regression suites from scratch
- Perform functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing
- Produce test plans and test documentation
- Identify automation opportunities and help drive the team's automation strategy
- Support software releases and production validation when required
What we're looking for
- Strong Automation Testing experience using Selenium
- Experience with C#, or Java with the willingness to work in C#
- Solid manual testing experience alongside automation
- Experience creating test cases, test plans and regression suites
- Knowledge of Jira
- Experience working within Agile environments
- Financial Services or Banking experience is advantageous
