About the OpportunityA purpose-driven, not-for-profit organisation in the financial services sector is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst for a 12-month fixed-term role. This hybrid position requires two days per week on-site in Crawley and offers the opportunity to work on both change initiatives and business-as-usual operations.
The RoleAs a Business Analyst, you'll act as the vital bridge between stakeholders and technical teams. Your focus will be to ensure that business needs are captured, clearly defined, and translated into deliverable solutions. You'll be involved in shaping technical outcomes and improving processes in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities-
Elicit and document business and technical requirements for projects and BAU enhancements

Engage with stakeholders across the business to identify needs and propose effective solutions

Collaborate with Developers, Testers, Product Owners, and other teams to drive outcomes

Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to gather insights and build consensus

Produce and maintain documentation such as process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria

Support UAT planning and execution

Provide analysis and support for system improvements and issue resolution
We're looking for someone with a strong mix of analytical thinking and communication skills. You should feel comfortable operating in both technical and business contexts and be able to work independently while contributing to team efforts.
Skills & ExperienceRequired:

Solid experience as a Business Analyst in a commercial or enterprise setting

Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication

Strong documentation and requirements gathering expertise

Comfortable working in Agile environments alongside Developers, Testers, and Product Owners

Ability to manage and prioritise work across BAU and change activities
Desirable:

Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM

Experience in financial services or regulated industries

Understanding of APIs, system migrations, or technical integrations
