Business Analyst

• Rate: £500 per day (via Umbrella)
• Location: Remote (ah-hoc travel to London)
• Duration: 6-month initial contract
• Clearance: Active SC clearance is essential

Join a leading consultancy delivering critical transformation work for a major UK Government Department. We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with proven delivery capability in complex environments and the ability to translate business needs into actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops to define requirements and drive alignment across stakeholders
• Conduct GAP analysis to identify improvements and risks
• Define AS-IS and TO-BE processes with clear documentation
• Create, refine, and manage user stories
• Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, planning, retrospectives, etc.)
• Map and engage stakeholders to ensure shared understanding and progress
• Translate technical requirements into business language, and vice versa
• Maintain clear documentation and ensure full requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle

• Active SC clearance
• Strong background in business analysis within complex or regulated environments
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Demonstrated ability to define processes and manage requirements end-to-end
