Business Intelligence Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Visualisation & Analytics Experience Specialist to bridge the gap between data, design, and user experience. This role combines analytical capability with front-end development and UX skills to create intuitive, impactful interfaces for data-driven decision making. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Product Teams, Engineers, and Data Practitioners to turn complex outputs into accessible, engaging visual products.
Key Responsibilities Data Analysis & Insight Delivery-
Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Teams to identify high-impact business problems that can be solved through data analysis and visualisation, utilising tools such as Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.

Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover patterns, anomalies, and relationships in datasets, translating insights into clear visual stories and actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Work with Data Analysts, Scientists, Engineers, and Business Analysts to understand the structure and purpose of their outputs and determine the most effective ways to visualise and communicate them.

Support the development of robust data pipelines and feature engineering activities in partnership with Data Engineers.

Design and develop a unified, user-friendly front-end interface that integrates dashboards, reports, models, and pipeline outputs into a single cohesive experience.

Optimise front-end application performance, ensuring fast load times, responsive layouts, and smooth, intuitive interactions.

Ensure all interfaces and visual products meet accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG 2.2), promoting inclusive usage across diverse user groups.

Collaborate with User Researchers to conduct user testing sessions, gather insights, and iterate on design and functionality based on real user needs.

Present prototypes, design concepts, and final outputs to stakeholders, incorporating feedback to improve the user experience.

Maintain clear documentation, style guides, and component libraries to support consistency, scalability, and reusability across future data products.

Strong experience with Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, or similar analytics and BI platforms.

Proficiency in conducting exploratory data analysis and translating findings into compelling visual narratives.

Experience building front-end interfaces or applications (e.g., using React, TypeScript, or equivalent).

Solid understanding of UX principles and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2).

Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communicate complex information effectively.

Experience with data engineering concepts such as pipelines, orchestration, or feature engineering.

Familiarity with component-driven design systems.

Knowledge of performance optimisation techniques for front-end applications.

Experience working in Agile or product-led environments.
