Data Engineer

£60 0-700/day outside IR35

6 month initial contract

Remote working - ideally once a month onsite

Working with a leading financial services client who are looking for a Data Engineering Consultant.

We're looking for a Data Engineer with a consultative mindset who can independently own complex data products from concept to delivery. You'll need to work with autonomy and understand how technical decisions translate into tangible business value and outcomes.

Data Engineering Consultant, key responsibilities:

• Take ownership of end-to-end of complex data products
• Work cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders to understand data requirements
• Expert knowledge of SQL to query, analysis and model data
• Experience with Snowflake
• Using DBT for data transforms and modelling
• Data ingestion using Python
• Build foundations for business functions to be able to access the correct data and insights
• Experience working in large development teams
