Data Insight Analyst, Supply Chain, Logistics
Location: Hybrid/Remote (2-3 times a month onsite)- London Contract Length: 3 Months Rate: £450-£550 a day (Inside IR35)
We're working with a well-established organisation undergoing significant transformation across its data and supply chain functions. As part of a major change programme, they're looking for a Senior Insight Analyst to support key supply chain and logistics initiatives through high-quality analysis, insight generation and stakeholder engagement.
This role would suit a strong analyst who enjoys working on project-based analytical challenges, translating complex data into meaningful business insights and influencing decision-making through data-driven recommendations.
What You'll Be Doing- Analysing complex operational and supply chain datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
- Supporting business-critical projects, including supply chain transformation and data migration initiatives.
- Delivering actionable insights to stakeholders across supply chain, logistics and operational teams.
- Building and enhancing reporting and visualisations using Power BI.
- Working with large datasets within Databricks and SQL-based environments.
- Partnering with stakeholders to understand business challenges and provide data-led recommendations.
- Translating technical findings into clear and meaningful insights for non-technical audiences.
- Strong experience in an Insight Analyst, Data Insight Analyst or similar analytics-focused role.
- Advanced SQL skills with the ability to interrogate and manipulate large, complex datasets.
- Experience using Power BI to create impactful reporting and visualisations.
- Exposure to Databricks or similar modern data platforms.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience delivering insights within project or transformation environments.
- Ability to work independently and provide a consultative approach to the business.
- Exposure to Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations, Inventory, Distribution, or Fulfilment analytics.
- Experience supporting supply chain transformation or migration projects.
- Knowledge of category, commercial or operational performance analysis.
