Dependency Manager
Location: London (2 days per week onsite)Duration: 6 months Clearance: SC Clearance requiredDaily rate: circa £550, inside IR35
We are looking for an experienced Dependency Manager to support a complex, multi-stream programme within a secure government environment. This role will focus on identifying, managing, and resolving interdependencies across projects, teams, and suppliers to ensure smooth delivery and minimise risk.
Key Responsibilities-
Identify, map, and maintain programme-level dependencies across multiple workstreams

Work closely with Programme, Project, and Delivery Managers to proactively manage risks and constraints

Establish and maintain dependency logs, critical path views, and mitigation plans

Facilitate cross-team coordination to resolve delivery blockers and sequencing issues

Provide clear, concise reporting on dependency status, impacts, and escalations

Support planning cycles, milestones, and assurance activities with accurate dependency insight

Proven experience managing dependencies within large, complex programmes

Strong understanding of programme delivery frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid)

Experience working in government or highly regulated environments

Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills

Ability to anticipate issues and drive resolution across organisational boundaries

Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
