DevOps Engineer Outside IR35

Outside IR35 | £575/day | 12 months | London (Hybrid)

We're seeking a senior, hands-on DevOps & Automation Lead to support an Enterprise Change function on a long-term contract. This is a flexible, non-project-specific role, providing DevOps expertise across multiple initiatives as demand shifts.

• Act as a senior DevOps consultant across hybrid estates: Azure, AWS, and on-prem
• Build and run CI/CD pipelines, release management, and automation for multi-tier systems
• Lead infrastructure automation using Terraform and Ansible
• Support deployments across Windows, Linux, and SQL Server
• Produce runbooks and documentation; enable repeatable, self-service automation
• Collaborate with delivery managers, product owners, and engineering teams
• Engage with ephemeral environments and emerging agentic AI automation, with scope to self-learn GenAI tooling

• Proven senior DevOps experience across hybrid / on-prem / cloud environments
• Strong automation mindset (Terraform, Ansible, CI/CD)
• Experience with Azure, AWS, Windows, Linux, MSSQL
• Comfortable working across multiple initiatives and stakeholders
• Strong documentation and communication skills
