Digital Analyst

We are looking for a data-driven Digital Analyst to join our marketing team. This role is crucial for proving the value and maximizing the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will be responsible for leveraging Google Analytics to gather deep insights into campaign performance, from initial user acquisition to conversion.
Experience Required:
- Proven experience as a Digital Analyst, Marketing Analyst, or a similar data-focused role.
- Strong background in analysing marketing campaign data and demonstrating ROI.
- Expert proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4) is essential, including report customization, audience creation, and event tracking.
- Experience with a data visualization tool (Power BI, Looker Studio, or Tableau) to create insightful dashboards.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing metrics and concepts (e.g., CPA, CTR, conversion rate, bounce rate).
- Familiarity with Google Tag Manager and UTM tracking best practices.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize Google Analytics to meticulously track, monitor, and analyze the performance of new and existing marketing campaigns across various digital channels (e.g., paid search, social media, email marketing).
- Conduct in-depth analysis to understand user behavior, conversion funnels, and customer journeys, identifying key drivers of success and areas for optimization.
- Translate complex data into clear, easy-to-understand insights that answer critical questions about campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Design, build, and maintain dynamic dashboards using a data visualization tool (e.g., Power BI, Looker Studio, Tableau) that clearly articulate campaign performance and ROI to stakeholders.
- Develop automated reports that showcase key performance indicators (KPIs) such as customer acquisition cost (CAC), cost per lead (CPL), and return on ad spend (ROAS).
- Present findings and recommendations to the marketing team and senior leadership, providing strategic guidance for future campaigns and budget decisions.
- Work with technical teams to ensure proper tracking and tagging (e.g., UTM parameters, event tracking) are in place for all marketing campaigns to guarantee data accuracy.
- Proactively identify and address any data anomalies or issues, ensuring that reports and dashboards are built on a foundation of clean, reliable data.
- Collaborate on A/B testing and other optimization efforts, using data to inform hypotheses and measure results.
