Front End Developer

Job Title Front-End Developer Location: Hybrid / Remote (UK-based)Contract Type: Contract (Outside IR35)Day Rate: £425-£450/day Clearance Required: Active SC Clearance

We're partnering with a leading public sector organisation to deliver a key data-driven programme and are looking for an experienced Front-End Developer with active SC Clearance to join the team on a contract basis.

This is a great opportunity to work on high-impact public sector initiatives, contributing to the design and development of intuitive and responsive user interfaces in a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.

• Develop, test, and maintain responsive front-end applications using modern frameworks and technologies.

• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and data teams to deliver seamless digital experiences.

• Ensure code quality through best practices including testing, reviews, and documentation.

• Integrate front-end components with AWS-based services, including Lambda.

• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, estimations, and retrospectives.

• Work within the constraints and standards expected in secure, SC-cleared environments.

• Proven front-end development experience in React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.

• Strong experience working with AWS, particularly Lambda and server less architectures.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, Agile teams and within structured public sector delivery environments.

• Demonstrated experience contributing to data-focused or analytic-heavy projects.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration skills.
