IT Asset Manager

A forward-thinking global organisation is seeking an experienced IT Asset Manager to strengthen its IT Operations team. This role is pivotal in consolidating and managing technology assets worldwide, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and value creation while acting as the trusted expert for asset lifecycle management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and maintain a single source of truth for all hardware and software assets.

  • Oversee the full asset lifecycle - from procurement and vendor negotiation through deployment, maintenance, and secure disposal.

  • Design and implement HAM/SAM processes, embedding continuous improvement.

  • Partner with the Vendor Manager to align asset management with contracts, compliance, and spend accuracy.

  • Lead transformation projects to consolidate multiple asset libraries into one global framework.

  • Define governance standards for asset management across international operations.

  • Act as the escalation point for complex asset issues, driving timely resolution.

  • Engage with diverse stakeholders across regions, translating technical detail into clear business outcomes.

Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years in IT Asset Management or Contract Management.

  • Proven track record delivering change projects and creating asset libraries.

  • Experience with software compliance, audits, and license validation.

  • Strong knowledge of IT contract management and vendor management.

  • Hands-on approach with the ability to work independently and deliver results.

  • ServiceNow experience highly desirable.

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, confident working with global teams.
