Job Title: MES Architect

Location: Wiltshire

Type: Permanent / Full Time

We’re looking for an experienced MES Architect / Specialist to lead a major MES transformation programme. You’ll define the MES strategy, design scalable solutions, and guide digital transformation across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define MES modernization strategy and roadmap.
• Lead technical and architectural guidance for business excellence teams.
• Integrate MES with ERP, PLC, SCADA, and legacy systems.
• Modernize legacy MES using modular and SOA/microservices approaches.
• Develop operator apps, workflows, dashboards, and real-time production monitoring.
• Ensure compliance, validation, and audit readiness.
• Support migrations and critical production windows on-site or remotely.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10+ years in MES architecture, design, and implementation.
• Experience with Tulip, Siemens, Rockwell or similar MES platforms.
• Strong skills in SQL, Python, industrial protocols, PLC/HMI programming, SCADA systems.
• Proven stakeholder management, project leadership, and change management.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance and validation processes.
• Willingness to travel for on-site support.
