Meta Data Specialist

Rate - £700-£750 per day overall assignment rate to umbrella.

Location - multiple locations around England - flexible hybrid working.

Duration - initial 9 months with chances for extension until the end of 2026.

Sanderson are currently working with a leading financial services organisation who are looking for a Meta Data Specialist to join them on an initial 9-month contract with chances for extension.

In this role you will be acting as a Meta Data SME within a large data migration project.

Role Responsibilities:

• Being hands on in the migration between the two platforms to make sure that all data is migrated efficiently and correctly.
• Interpreting meta data at source
• Making sure that the end system is fit for purpose and the data that it will be housing.
• Liaising with stakeholders to communicate any progress and potential pinch points.
• Aiding in the continuous improvement of the data system.

Skills Required:

• Proven and long-term experience within the financial services sector.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Colibra Data Catalogue.
• Experience preforming a data migration onto Colibra.
• An in-depth understanding of meta data - business meta data knowledge is preferred.
• The interpretation of meta data.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with Informatica is preferable.
